These Quilts entail designing and making the top as well as quilting and binding it. T-shirts and other knit fabrics are backed with stabilizer and quilted in a large meander pattern.
Lap quilts 45-60″ wide, 45-60″ long. 3 X 3, 3 X 4, or 4 X 4 grid. Uses 9-16 t-shirts cut into same size blocks (12-20″ square). Can do collage style (Like Josiah’s quilt above using up to 50 baby clothes).
Lap quilt cost $200-225 with no sashing. $225-250 with solid color 2″ sashing in between blocks. $$275-300 collage layout (different size logos, need 15-20 shirts or up to 50 baby items, note-items not used will be returned). Add $30 for name on the top or bottom of quilt. If you would like a special novelty fabric for the back please provide 4 yards and take $40 off price.
Twin size 60-80″ wide, 75-100″ long. 4 X 5 or 5 X 6 grid. uses 20-30 t-shirts cut into the same size blocks (12-20′ square). Can do collage style (t-shirts or other clothing items-no baby clothes though) 40-50 items (items not used will be returned.)
Twin size cost $350-$375 with no sashing, $375-$400 with solid color 2″ sashing, $425-$450 for collage layout. Add $30 for name on the top or bottom of quilt. If you would like a special novelty fabric for the back please provide 7 yards and take $70 off price.
Please wash and dry all items, do not use fabric softener or dryer sheets. All t-shirts quilts require a 50% deposit and 4-6 weeks lead time. For Graduations, order by April 15, for Christmas, order by October 1.
